Here are the books I added to my shelves this September and October!
As soon as two proofs fell into my lap, I devoured them. If you told me you’ve missed the excitement around Katherine Webber’s Wing Jones (about fitting in, running & family), I wouldn’t believe you. I was also sent another Twitter Queen’s novel for review, Sara Barnard’s A Quiet Kind of Thunder (about anxiety, first love & friendship). I’ll be writing more about these two amazing books soon – but let me tell you, I’ll definitely be buying finished copies!
I also added four books to my shelves that made it onto my winter TBR: The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily, What Light, Mistletoe & Murder and …And a Happy New Year? I’ve already read the first two (after re-reading Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares for the third time) and can’t wait to delve into the rest! I’m especially looking forward to picking up the final book in the Spinster Club series when Debbie and I have our NYE sleepover, complete with baking, books and blankets.
And I received three lovely books for review from publishers: A Song From Somewhere Else (a stunning novel by A.F. Harrold, illustrated by Levi Pinfold), The One Memory of Flora Banks (one of Penguin’s leading YA books for 2017) and Maybe a Fox (a beautiful book about two sisters, Jules and Sylvie, and a mysterious fox).
Are any of these books on your TBR?
