I visited the lovely Kew Gardens (also known as The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew) with a friend the week before last. It was my first time visiting and I thought it was a wonderful place. I’m happy I got the chance to go on the last sunny weekend before it turned grey and rainy. We got there before noon and left at closing time, but still didn’t see everything the garden has to offer. I wish I lived nearby as it’s the perfect place to go to escape London (and it’s in London!). I want to go back in October/November and experience what it’s like to wander around the gardens on a chilly, autumn day. I suggest visiting the humid palm house, browsing the beautiful Kew Palace and walking among the tree tops. I wasn’t trying to use the camera properly, unfortunately, so I missed out a lot. I expect autumn is prettier anyhow! :)
